Bermuda Ball Hockey: Spiders & Mallards Win
A total of 16 goals were scored in the latest round of Bermuda Ball Hockey League action at PCC Hockey Rink.
San Francisco Spiders 3 – Milwaukee Admirals 2
In the opener, the San Francisco Spiders came back from being down 2 – 0 down in the final period to edge the Milwaukee Admirals 3 – 2.
Robbie Bailey gave the Milwaukee Admirals the lead in the first period before doubling the Milwaukee Admirals lead with a goal in the second period.
James Amaral began the comeback for the San Francisco Spiders with a goal early in the third period. Amaral then drew the teams level with his second goal of the game before Matt McPhail scored what proved to be the game winner.
Quad City Mallards 8 – Lone Star Brahmas 3
The Quad City Mallards defeated the Lone Star Brahmas 8 – 3 in the nightcap, with the winning team getting four goals from Ryan Marshall, while Cam Poland, Adam Mattatall, Damien McDonnell and Anthony Kapsimalis added a goal each.
Chad Cundliffe, Andrew Leavy and Jennifer Toope each found the back of the net for the Lone Star Brahmas.
