Methods To Make Complaints Against Police

Noting the current social distancing guidelines, the police have asked people who may wish to make a complaint about the police to please do so online, rather than attend a police station in person.

A police spokesperson said, “In this period of social distancing please note the following methods available for persons wishing to make complaints against police:

  • “Visit the Police Complaints Authority [PCA] website at pca.bm
  • “Visit the BPS Community Reporting Portal at here to complete our online form

“You should use this form to initiate the process of making a formal complaint against police officers or members of staff employed by the Bermuda Police Service.

“Once the form is submitted, you will receive an automated receipt and an investigator will be in touch within five working days.

“We ask that during the current pandemic, you do not attend any police station, to make a complaint against police.”
