Downed Pole In Hamilton Parish, Road Closed

[Updated] Due to a downed pole in the area of North Shore Road and Callen Glen Drive in Hamilton Parish, police are advising motorists to use Harrington Sound Road as an alternative route.

A police spokesperson said, “There is a downed electricity pole in the area of North Shore Road and Callen Glen Drive, Hamilton Parish, near Harlem Heights.

“The road is closed in both directions and motorists are advised to use Harrington Sound Road as an alternative route.

“It could be a while before the roadway is cleared.”

Update, 5.39pm: In an online post, a police spokesperson said, “The downed electricity pole in the area of North Shore Road and Callen Glen Drive [near Harlem Heights] in Hamilton Parish has now been cleared and the roadway reopened.”
