IAC To Host Virtual Convening On June 24th

June 18, 2020

On Wednesday, June 24th, the Inter Agency Committee for Children and Families [IAC] will be hosting a “virtual convening of human service providers to give social and helping agencies an opportunity to share what services they are currently providing and what trends they are seeing with clients and the community.”

The meeting is a virtual meeting from 2pm – 4pm and individuals can register here to attend.

“The goal of the convening is to increase the sector’s collective understanding of who is currently doing what across the human service landscape and build a more holistic understanding across the sector regarding the nature of the issues currently facing the community. IAC Programme Coordinator Nicola Paugh commented. “Knowledge-sharing is an important part of building the capacity and strength of the sector, as we continually work to meet the human needs of the community. We encourage government, private and nonprofit/third sector partners to attend.”

IAC is a membership organization of social and human service providers that exists to strengthen the capacity of agencies to respond to the changing needs of Bermuda’s children and families.

IAC helps Bermuda’s human service agencies to be better providers and stronger advocates through training, advocacy and collaboration. To learn more about IAC membership or upcoming training, visit www.iacbermuda.org.”
