MTM Covid Open Tournament Day Three Results
Rain affected the third day of the MTM COVID Open Tennis Tournament at the Fairmont Southampton Tennis Courts, with less than half the days matches completed.
Only one match needed three sets to decide a winner as Alex Lefebvre defeated Jadon Spriggs 6-3, 4-6, 10-5.
Gavin Manders had won the first set in his match against Michael Way, before Way retired, while Benjamin Jones was leading Nick Cooper 5-3 in the first set of their match before rained halted play.
Sienna Taylor and Jonah Faria were level at 2-2, before rain ended their match early and, Kaywell Outerbridge and Holly Richardson were in the first game of their match before the inclement weather brought their match to a halt.
