Video: Sunday August 16th ‘Good News’ Spotlight

News that – after a long wait – bananas are back on the island, the Bank of Bermuda Foundation donated $250,000 to the Bermuda Nonprofit Stabilisation Fund, the BSX was named Best Offshore Securities Exchange, and Kole Hall scored in a Radcliffe FC win were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, Minister of Labour Jason Hayward presented scholarship awards to 10 Department of Workforce Development 2020 recipients, Adriana Burchall was selected as an AXA XL Scholar, BF&M donated $5,000 to support the Community Feeding Programme, and the PHC Foundation awarded its annual scholarship awards.

We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of First and Premier Division Cricket action, the BBA Junior Team Time Trial, and the Craig Bean Championships.
