Video: Sunday Sept 24th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that the Bermuda women’s football team claimed a 2-0 win over the Dominican Republic, Raleigh Bermuda held its Venturers’ graduation ceremony, Gherdai Hassell held her first U.S. solo exhibition and Michael DeLeon from the Department of Public Transport earned a Public Service Excellence Award were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Nia Christopher’s latest goal for her Towson University soccer team made her their all-time leader in goals with 31, Charlotte Millington won bronze and gold medals at the Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships, Joshua Joseph scored in three consecutive games for Thomas College, and Isaiah Blankendal scored the winner for Hartley Wintney.
Other good news stories included KW Bermuda partnering with KBB for a clean up, Marsh McLennan donating to CedarBridge Academy, L&G Re supporting emerging talent in Bermuda, and Mass General Brigham donated to The Eliza Dolittle Society
