Video: Sunday Sept 17th ‘Good News’ Spotlight
News that Ryann Hollis was called to the Bermuda Bar, Devonshire Parish Council presented scholarships to Jaden Smith, Razi Garland, Kayla McCarthy, Timaris Thompson, and Isabella Gaugain, and Eduardo Fox received the 2023 Fred Reiss Lifetime Achievement Award were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, Joshua Joseph had an outstanding game for his Thomas College Men’s Soccer team, scoring a hat trick to lead them to a 5-0 victory, football agent Jason Gonsalves is helping local players, Sydney Fischer and Blair University defeated Scotch Plains-Fanwood, Nicholas Pilgrim and Caitlin Conyers claimed victory in the Winners Edge Criterium, Candyce Martins won a race at the ITPA in Indiana, Tai Williams scored in two straight games for March Town United, Pawsitively Purrfect campaign donated to the SPCA, KraftHeinz and Butterfield & Vallis donated $4,222.88 to the Bermuda Sloop Foundation and $5,861.75 to MS Society and , four college students – Marcos Furr, Amir Thomas, Peter Silvester and Madison Smith – took part in Marsh McLennan’s summer internship program,.
