Ball Hockey: Outback & Spine And Sport Win
A total of 19 goals were scored in the latest round of Bermuda Ball Hockey League action at the PCC Hockey Rink.
Appleby 1 Outback 6
The opening match saw seven goals scored as the Outback defeated Appleby 6 – 1.
Outback jumped out to a 3 – 0 lead at the end of the first period with 3 goals off the stick of JM Tremblay. The second period saw Outback outscore Appleby 2 – 1, as the Outback got a goal each from Cam Poland and Jon Talbot, while Derek Winch scored for Appleby.
Kelly Foley scored the lone goal for Outback in the third period for the win.
Spine and Sport 10 Positive Image Dental 2
The nightcap saw the Spine and Sport defeat Positive Image Dental 10 – 2.
Spine and Sport got a hat-trick from Andrew Boner, while Robbie Bailey and Jeffrey Ingelman both scored twice to go along with single goals from Ronnie Dzurus, Craig Macneil, and Matt Ingelman. Jeff Loper and Marcel Bouwens scored a goal each for Positive Image Dental.
