BWS: Low Pressure System To Bermuda’s East
The Bermuda Weather Service is “closely monitoring” the “development of a low-pressure system to Bermuda’s east.”
In an online post earlier this morning [Oct 16], the BWS said, “Don’t put those hurricane season supplies back in storage just yet. Multiple weather models are indicating the development of a low-pressure system to Bermuda’s east through the weekend [highlighted in red in this morning’s Infrared satellite image].
“The winds on Sunday in the Bermuda area may reach Small Craft Warning criteria as the low gradually creeps southward. BWS will be closely monitoring this system for possible development of subtropical or tropical characteristics.”
