Hurricane Epsilon Is No Longer A Threat

Hurricane Epsilon is no longer a threat to the island, it has passed its closest point of approach to Bermuda, and the Tropical Storm Warning has ended.

The Bermuda Weather Service’s forecast says, “The Tropical Storm Warning has ended as Hurricane Epsilon, now to our east-northeast, will continue to move north and further away today.

“However, shower chances and strong breezes propagating from the hurricane will affect the Island into early Saturday then wane going forward. Hazardous seas will plague our waters into the early part of the weekend then gradually settle thereafter.”
