Football: Friendship And Shield Draws Held
The Bermuda Football Association Competitions Committee held the draw for the Friendship and Shield during the Dudley Eve Final.
The fixtures for the Friendship Preliminary Rounds are as follows:
- Match 1: Dandy Town v Devonshire Rec – November 28th, Goose Gosling Field, at 9:00pm
- Match 2: Robin Hood v Somerset CC -November 29th, Goose Gosling Field, at 2:30pm
- Match 3: Southampton Rangers v Somerset Bridge RC– November 29th, Southampton Oval, at 2:30pm
A BFA spokesperson said, “The winners of each Preliminary Round will advance to the Friendship Quarter-final Round. The match 1 winner will face off against Devonshire Colts.
“The match 2 winner will kick off against X-Roads and the winner of match 3 will face St. George’s. The fourth quarter-final fixture will see North Village take on PHC Zebras. All Friendship quarter-final fixtures will take place on Sunday, December 20th.
“The Shield Quarter-final Round will be held on Sunday, December 20th. The Shield quarter-final match ups are as follows:
- Hamilton Parish WC v Flanagan’s Onions FC
- Vasco v St. David’s
- Ireland Rangers v YMSC
- Boulevard v Wolves
“The venues and times for the Friendship and Shield quarter-final are yet to be determined.”
