Health Dept Currently Out Of Influenza Vaccine

November 9, 2020

The Department of Health is currently out of the flu vaccine — which they said was due to a surge in demand as well as supply chain disruption due to the cancellation of British Airways flights — so “all walk-in service for obtaining flu vaccines for the following weeks are canceled.”

In providing today’s Covid results, a Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Health is advising members of the public that they are currently out of the influenza [flu] vaccine. This is due to an atypical surge in demand for the vaccine as well as supply chain disruption due to the cancellation of British Airways flights.

“Therefore all walk-in service for obtaining flu vaccines for the following weeks are canceled. This was previously scheduled to take place at the Hamilton Health Centre.

“The Department of Health is working to reroute our incoming shipment of the vaccine, which was scheduled to arrive on a British Airways flight later this month.”

These are the same people that want to exert greater control over your healthcare and yet they couldn’t anticipate an increase in demand for the flu vaccine during a pandemic.

How can they be currently out due to cancelled BA flights when the last BA flight is on the 11th?
