Video & Live Updates: Remembrance Day

November 11, 2020

[Updated] The Remembrance Day event is scheduled to be held today [Nov 11] to pay respects to the Bermudians who served in the two World Wars of the 20th century and other conflicts, many of whom did not return home after making the ultimate sacrifice.

The live video has concluded and the replay is below

The Government previously said that invited guests that will lay wreaths include the Governor, Premier, Leader of the Opposition and representatives for all War Veterans and service persons, the Corporation of Hamilton, the Allied Nations, and all uniformed services, with the Royal Bermuda Regiment set to “support the ceremony with a Guard on parade.”

As the Government has said that this year’s Remembrance Day observance “will be a closed event” and “there will be no public admission,” Bernews is making our best effort to provide coverage so people can view from home, and while we do not expect to have many live updates, we will have some later this morning, and also will have live video and a photo gallery later today.
