Public Health [Covid-19 Emergency Powers] [No. 3] Regulations 2020 Large Group Exemption:

Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association Swim Meets

Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association – Swim Meets is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4 [1] and [2] of the Public Health [COVID-19 Emergency Powers][No.3] Regulations 2020 on groups of more than fifty persons assembling;

Now, therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 [4] of those Regulations to Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association [Ben Smith] permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble on the below dates and times at the Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association, Pembroke Parish with the following conditions:

Conditions:

  • All persons attending the Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association – Swim Meets must maintain appropriate physical distancing which is described as; maintaining a distance between all persons who are not members of the same household of at least –
    • six feet; or
    • three feet, provided each person is wearing a mask which completely covers their nose and mouth, and follow any relevant guidance.
  • Maximum number of attendees – 150
  • Duration:
    • Saturday November 14, 2020 – 7:00 am to 11:00 am
    • Friday November 27, 2020 – 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm
    • Saturday November 28, 2020 – 7:00 am to 11:00 am
    • Sunday November 29, 2020 – 7:00 am to 11:00 am
  • Recording of names and contact information of persons attending the event for the purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for 28 days post-date of each event date.
  • Adherence to all applicable COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.
  • The Ministry of National Security reserves the right to withdraw the permission to have more than seventy-five persons assembled at the event without notice or cost to the Bermuda Government subject to the status of COVID 19 in the local community.
  • The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe compliance of the conditions as prescribed above

Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute – Christmas Fair is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4 [1] and [2] of the Public Health [COVID-19 Emergency Powers] [No.3] Regulations 2020 on groups of more than fifty persons assembling;

Now, therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 [4] of those Regulations to Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [Ms. Wendy Wilson] permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble Saturday November 14, and Saturday, November 28, 2020, between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm at Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute, 40 Crow Lane, Pembroke Parish with the following conditions:

Conditions:

  • All persons attending the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute must maintain appropriate physical distancing which is described as; maintaining a distance between all persons who are not members of the same household of at least –
    • six feet; or
    • three feet, provided each person is wearing a mask which completely covers their nose and mouth, and follow any relevant guidance.
  • Maximum number of attendees – 150 to be permitted into the building at any given time
  • Duration: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Recording of names and contact information of persons attending the event for the purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for 28 days post-date of the event.
  • Adherence to all applicable COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.
  • The Ministry of National Security reserves the right to withdraw the permission to have more than seventy-five persons assembled at the event without notice or cost to the Bermuda Government subject to the status of COVID 19 in the local community.

Now, therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 [4] of those Regulations to Just Dreams Event Planning and Décor [Cyniqua Anderson] permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble Saturday November 14, 2020 between 5:00pm and 9:00 pm at Fort Scaur , Sandy’s Parish with the following conditions:

Conditions:

  • All persons attending the Just Dreams Event Planning and Décor – Wedding Reception must maintain appropriate physical distancing which is described as; maintaining a distance between all persons who are not members of the same household of at least –
    • six feet; or
    • three feet, provided each person is wearing a mask which completely covers their nose and mouth, and follow any relevant guidance.
  • Maximum number of attendees – 105
  • Duration: 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Recording of names and contact information of persons attending the event for the purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for 28 days post-date of the event.
  • Adherence to all applicable COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.
