Bermuda 2nd In CEA Regional Jumping Event

The 2020 Bermuda Team  — Mackenzie James, Tyler James and Lily Butler — placeed second in the 2020 CEA Regional Jumping Challenge.

A spokesperson said, “Despite Bermuda having held the team championship for 4 consecutive year, it was Barbados who captured this year’s Team victory in the CEA Regional Jumping Challenge with a very impressive total score of 157.67.

“The Bermuda Team claimed second place with a score of 179.40 with Trinidad and Tobago securing third place with a close score 179.88.

“In addition to the Team Country ranking, the Challenge includes an Overall Individual Regional placing.

“In the Overall Individual 1.00m category, Mackenzie James riding Up Up & Away placed 3rd.

“Tyler James riding Happy Feet secured 1st place in Overall Individual .85m division and Isabelle Pelletier riding Helsinki claimed the overall 2nd place.

“In the Overall .70m category, Lily Butler riding Storm Watch placed third.

“The CEA Regional Jumping Challenge provides an opportunity for competitors of all ages to measure their skills against riders within the Caribbean region. Riders compete in their own countries over two rounds of a predetermined jumping course

“Congratulations are extended to all competitors.”
