BFRS Responds To 13 Calls During Winter Storm
The Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service responded to 13 emergency calls last evening [Jan 28] during the winter storm.
A BFRS spokesperson said, “The BFRS responded to 13 emergency call last evening during the winter storm.
- Five automatic fire alarms
- Six pole fires
- One emergency special service
- One EMS call
“The pole fires were located throughout the whole island
- Somerset Road and West Side Road
- Mullet Bay Road
- Middle Road Devonshire
- Admiral Walk Southampton
- Devon Spring Road
“The Emergency Special Service was due to someone unable to secure a window during the storm.”
