BFRS Responds To 13 Calls During Winter Storm

The Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service responded to 13 emergency calls last evening [Jan 28] during the winter storm.

A BFRS spokesperson said, “The BFRS responded to 13 emergency call last evening during the winter storm.

  • Five automatic fire alarms
  • Six pole fires
  • One emergency special service
  • One EMS call

“The pole fires were located throughout the whole island

  • Somerset Road and West Side Road
  • Mullet Bay Road
  • Middle Road Devonshire
  • Admiral Walk Southampton
  • Devon Spring Road

“The Emergency Special Service was due to someone unable to secure a window during the storm.”
