NSC North Field Closed Every Saturday Morning
The 600m rack at the North Field at the National Sports Centre will be closed every Saturday morning to allow closed circuit training for the Bermuda Bicycle Association junior riders, the NSC announced today.
A spokesperson said, “This is a great opportunity for the organization to work with their junior athletes in a secure environment as some of the riders are being introduced to the sport.”
Craig Tyrrell, the NSC SVP Operations Manager, said: “The NSC is committed to providing spaces for our National Sports Governing Bodies to develop young talent and provide opportunities to prepare them for local and international competition.”
“We are delighted to partner with the BBA on this initiative and thank the public in advance for any inconvenience this one hour each week may cause, as it does mean that the North field will be inaccessible to walkers and joggers and other recreational users during these times.”
