Alizadeh Qualifies For Tokyo Olympic Games

Dara Alizadeh’s dream has come true, with the athlete qualifying for the Tokyo Olympic Games, where he will represent the island in rowing.

Competing in the finals of the World Rowing Americas Olympic Qualification Regatta in Brazil, all but one Olympic qualifying spot for the Men’s Single Sculls were confirmed according to the qualification rules for Continental Regattas, with Alizadeh and Felix Damian Potoy of Nicaragua, both in the B Final.

Alizadeh finished 3rd and Potoy finished 4th, with Alizadeh earning the right to advance to Tokyo to represent Bermuda.
