Arrest ‘In Connection With Immigration Matter’
[Updated] A 40-year-old foreign national “sought in connection with an immigration matter was arrested” today, the police have confirmed.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 5:30pm today, Sunday 28th March 2021, an individual being sought in connection with an immigration matter was arrested after he was seen in the Parson’s Road, Pembroke, area.
“He was handed over to the Department of Corrections and transported to the Westgate Correctional Facility.
“It is anticipated he will appear before the Courts tomorrow, Monday 29th March, 2021.”
Update 10.59pm: The police confirmed that the “individual arrested is a 40-year-old foreign national.”
