Collision In Warwick, One Transported To KEMH

A two vehicle collision — involving a car and a motorcycle — occurred in Warwick today [March 28] with the male motorcyclist transported to hospital via ambulance after sustaining head and facial injuries, while the female driver of the car was uninjured.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 12:00 noon today, Sunday 28th March, 2021, police received reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle near the junction of Middle Road and Morgan Road, Warwick.

“The male motorcyclist sustained head and facial injuries and was left semi-conscious when the bike he was riding in an easterly direction collided with the car which was headed west.

“The female driver of the car was uninjured. Both vehicles were extensively damaged.

“Emergency Medical Services personnel attended the scene and transported the motorcyclist to King Edward VII Hospital via ambulance, for further treatment to his injuries, which were described as serious

“The roadway which was closed for a period as Forensics Officers and Traffic Collision Investigators processed the scene, has now been reopened.
