Hawley Finishes 11th In Triathlon In Florida
Erica Hawley took part in the Sarasota-Bradenton Triathlon where she finished 11th in the Women’s Elite Pro Race recording a time of 56:49.7.
Hawley covered the 0.75 km swim course in a time of 9:55.8 coming out of the water in the 22nd spot, she then moved up to 7th after covering the 18.3 km bike course in a time of 38:25.4, and closed out with a 5 km run time of 18:45.0.
Hawley said, “It was a hard hot day out there, I was in the second pack out of the swim, and myself and a couple of other girls biked pretty hard and caught on within 5km so there was about 15 of us in the lead pack going into the run. Another run race, in the end, it feels so good to race again and was happy with my execution in both races.”
