Results: Fat Tire Massive At Ferry Reach
The Bermuda Fat Tire Massive 2020/2021 Mountain Bike Race Series season continued with race day seven at Ferry Reach.
Robin Horsfield would once again prove too strong for the field in the Male Open 60 Minute Division when he clocked a 4 lap winning time of 50:09, Alexander Miller was second in a time of 53:01, and finishing third was Liam Flannery who also completed 4 laps clocking 53:27.
The female open 60 minute race was won by Cassandra McPhee who clocked a 3 lap time of 54:10, Jennifer Wilson was second also completing 3 laps in 58:30, and Jennifer Lightbourne completed 3 laps finishing third with a time of 1:02:04.
Michael Terceira raced to victory in the male open 30 minute race with a time of 42:31 over 3 laps, while Chad Townsell was second in a 3 lap time of 42:33, and finishing third was Howard Williams in 42:57, also completing 3 laps.
The female open 30 minute race was won by Christine Soutter who stopped the clock in a time of 32:21, Zina Jones was second in 34:22, and Caroline Wright finished third with a time of 35:07, all three completed 2 laps each.
