Football: Dill Scores Twice In Ilkeston Win
Ayleal Dill, Seke Spence, and their Ilkeston Town’s teammates defeated Awsworth Villa Football Club 3 – 1, with Dill notching two goals for the team.
Dill scored the first goal through a penalty after he was brought down in the box. The match was halted for 20 minutes with an injury stoppage after Dill and his captain Jamie Willow went up for a header and their heads collided, causing Willow to be taken away by ambulance.
Once the game resumed, Dill doubled the score from close range. The third goal for Ilkeston was scored with a header by Martin Thomas.
Awsworth scored their only goal with some scrappy defending inside the box.
