Tennis: James Finnigan Helps St. Mary’s Win
James Finnigan and his St. Mary’s Men’s tennis teammates earned their sixth shutout of the season as they defeated Western New Mexico, 7-0 at Rohrbach Tennis Stadium.
The win was the third consecutive win for St. Mary’s, as they improve their record to 11-3 on the season and 4-1 in Lone Star Conference action.
At no. 2 doubles, Finnigan and Jake Faryniarz picked up the first win for St. Mary’s defeating Lazius Brown and Jace Crawford 6-0.
In the singles, Finnigan was second to finish at the no. 4 spot, winning 6-2, 6-3 against Rodrigo Mere.
