May 28, 2021

[Updating] The Bermuda Day celebrations are set to take place today [May 28] including the road running race, the cycling race and the Bermuda Day showcase and you can follow live coverage of all events on Bernews.

Due to the pandemic there are some changes from past holiday events, with the running race limited to 450 single runner participants and the Showcase being held instead of the traditional parade. The cycling race got underway at 8.15am from St George’s, with cyclists attaining speeds so high the Government temporarily lifted the speed limit for those taking part, setting a new one of 75 kilometres per hour for the duration of the race.
