Nahki Wells On Bristol City Retained List
Bristol City announced its Retained List following the conclusion of the 2020/21 Sky Bet Championship season, with the retained list including Bermudian footballer Nahki Wells.
City Manager Nigel Pearson said, “I have spoken with each departing player and wish them all well in the next stage of their careers.
“We are entering into a significant transition period for the club and central to that is deciding which players can take this club forward. The first element of that is largely done and now it’s about looking forward to who we can bring in as we build towards next season.”
In a post on Instagram, Wells said, “The season has come to an end & assessing it, on the whole, it’s been a very disappointing one. We can all say from top to bottom it hasn’t been good enough. Now we have the opportunity to recharge the batteries and come back stronger. Thank you for the continued support & hopefully when we return we can be back in front of our fans.”
