BFRS Releases Call Data For Month Of May

During the month of May, the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service [BFRS] responded to a number of medical, fire, and airport-related calls.

A BFRS spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service for the month of May responded to a number of medical-related calls. These calls include medical calls, road traffic collisions, and medical transports.

  • The Clearwater appliance responded to 50
  • The fire Service Medic responded to 73
  • The Hamilton appliance responded to 41
  • The Port Royal appliance responded to 32

“The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service Structural Division for the month of May responded to a number of fire-related calls. These calls include fires and automatic fire alarms.

  • The Clearwater appliance responded to 7
  • The Hamilton appliance responded to 59
  • The Port Royal appliance responded to 25

“The Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service Airport Operation Division for the month of May responded to a number of airport-related calls. These calls include foreign object debris [FOD], airplane diversions and hot refuels.

  • AOD had 53 FODs
  • Two hot refuels
