BFRS Extinguish Fire On King Street
The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service [BFRS] extinguished a structural fire on King Street yesterday afternoon.
A BFRS spokesperson said, “On Saturday June 19, 2021 at 3;51pm the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service Dispatch received a report of a structural fire at an residence on King Street.
“BFRS responded with one appliance from Hamilton Station and a total of 4 firefighters.
“On arrival fire crews saw a flames and smoke issuing out of a small room on the eastern side of the residence. The Officer in Charge instructed two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire using 1’1/2” hose from their appliance. The fire was quickly extinguished.
“The cause of the fire is unknown and is being investigated by the BFRS fire investigator.”
