Memorial Tributes For 16-Year-Old Amber Bridges
Family and friends gathered on South Road in Southampton on Saturday, with many leaving tributes to pay their respects and show their love for 16-year-old Amber Bridges, who tragically passed away following a collision in the area last week.
People had been asked to wear pink, and numerous people drove past to pay their respects, and many left tributes to the much loved teenager, with flowers, balloons, and stuffed animals left at the scene, many in pink and some with a horse theme, in a nod to Amber’s love for horses.
In addition to Amber’s family and friends, those that drove by included the Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service who put on their siren and waved a pink scarf out of the window, a man on horseback wearing pink who removed his helmet and bowed as he came past, and two mothers who also lost their children in collisions stopped by to show support, both bringing cards and flowers for Amber’s family.
