“The Road To Recovery” Event On August 30
The Bermuda Road Safety Council and Sandys Parish Council will be holding a free event entitled “The Road to Recovery” on Monday, August 30th from 6pm – 8pm at BUNA Coffee House.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Road Safety Council and Sandys Parish Council are pleased to announce their next event – The Road to Recovery.
“The purpose of this event is to raise the awareness of the aftermath of road traffic collisions and to provide support to victims and their families.
“We have partnered with the Bermuda Red Cross, the Employee Assistance Programme [EAP] and collision victims to encourage people to talk about the psychological effects of being involved in a collision, sustaining life altering injuries or worse, losing a loved one due to a road traffic collision.
“This free event will be held on Monday, August 30th 2021 from 6pm – 8pm at BUNA Coffee House [the old Burrows Plumbing building], which is located at Hog Bay Level, Sandys. Light refreshments will be provided.
