Cyclists To Compete In World Championships

Bermudian cyclists Caitlin Conyers, Kaden Hopkins, Conor White, Nic Narraway, Alexander Miller, and Liam Flannery will be heading to Belgium next week to compete in the UCI Road World Championships.

A spokesperson said, “Bermuda will be represented at the UCI Road World Championships in Belgium next week by six athletes. Caitlin Conyers [Elite Women], Kaden Hopkins, Conor White, Nic Narraway [all U23 Men], plus Alexander Miller and Liam Flannery [Junior Men] will be competing against the best road cyclists in the world at the 100th anniversary edition of the event.

Monday, September 20

  • Men U23 time trial [Hopkins & White
  • Women Elite time trial [Conyers]

Tuesday, September 21

  • Men Junior time trial [Miller & Flannery]

Friday, September 24

  • Men Junior road race [Miller & Flannery]
  • Men U23 road race [Hopkins, White & Narraway]

Saturday, September 25

  • Women Elite road race [Conyers]
