BPS: Don’t Leave Valuables & Keys Inside Car
After several reports of thefts of 4 wheeled vehicles, the police are reminding the public not to leave valuable items or keys inside the vehicle as “this is a direct invitation for opportunistic thieves to help themselves to your belongings.”
The Bermuda Police Service posted the photo below on social media, saying: “After several recent reports of 4 wheeled vehicle thefts, the Bermuda Police Service once again would like to remind the motoring public to be mindful when leaving vehicles unattended.
“Please do not leave valuable items or vehicle keys inside the vehicle. This is a direct invitation for opportunistic thieves to help themselves to your belongings.”
My ex always leaves her keys and house key in her car outside her house! Dumb but true! Dreamer!
It seems absurd to need to tell this to people but here we are..
