“Flora Gold” Rum Auction Raises $18,090
Goslings recently auctioned 15 bottles of a special limited release aged rum — called ‘Flora Gold’ — in collaboration with Olympic gold medalist Flora Duffy, with the auction raising a total of $18,090 for the Flora Fund, which supports aspiring Bermudian athletes.
Flora Duffy posted on Instagram, saying: “The Goslings Rum auction raised $18,090 for The Flora Fund, with the 15 bottles. Amazing. To all those who placed a bid – thank you! And a big thank you to Malcolm Gosling Sr and Jr for making the project happen, and for my personal commemorative bottle. It made it to Colorado without breaking! Bottle 1/15 and bottle 15/15 went for the most. And for those that don’t know spot 15 is where both Kristian Blu and I started at the Olympics.”
