The Lido Complex confirmed that they remain open, with the “Lido and Sea Breeze currently open Tuesday to Sunday for lunch, dinner and takeout, and live entertainment is available Friday and Saturday.”

A spokesperson said, “In light of the recent article regarding Elbow Beach Hotel, the management of the Lido Complex would like to confirm that they remain open and ready to serve Bermuda’s residents and tourists.

“Gioacchino Di Meglio [“Jacky"] and his team have run the various restaurants at the complex, comprising Café Lido restaurant, Seabreeze Terrace, The Deep and Mickeys since April 1992. Jacky has seen the development of the Complex from one small operation over the years to become an icon of outside dining and entertainment in Bermuda.

“Jacky notes that whilst Mickeys was sadly closed after the 2020 hurricane, the intention is to re-open it once the Hotel completes mending the area adjacent to Mickeys and the access is fully restored. He concurs that Elbow Beach remains one of Bermuda’s jewels and looks forward to better times for all concerned.

“In the meantime, Seabreeze continues to find aficionados with the explosion of outdoor dining and continues to host Bermudian entertainers on its spectacular terrace. Jacky quotes “I look forward to continuing to welcome all our long-standing clients of thirty years at the Lido Complex. Our exciting menus and entertainment continue to appeal and to attract the next generation looking for a lively and friendly atmosphere.”

“Lido and Sea Breeze are currently open Tuesday to Sunday for lunch, dinner and takeout. Live entertainment is available Friday and Saturday. Bookings can also be made for private events and holiday parties. For reservations call 236-9884. For more information visit www.lido.bm.”
