Tennis: Trey Mallory Wins At Bulldog Invitational

Bermuda’s Trey Mallory — who competes for the University of North Carolina Wilmington — won the Black Draw singles championship at the Bulldog Invitational after defeating Juan Martin Jalif.

The University’s report said, “Freshman Trey Mallory of UNCW reeled off four singles victories to capture the Black Draw singles championship early Sunday at the Bulldog Invitational hosted by Georgia at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

“The newcomer from Southampton, Bermuda, delivered a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 come-from-behind victory over Miami junior Juan Martin Jalif in Sunday’s title match to cap an outstanding weekend in Georgia.”
