Footballers in the Premier Division were in action, with Devonshire Colts, Devonshire Cougars, and St. George’s Colts all earning wins.
North Village Rams 1 – Devonshire Colts 2
At the Bernard Park, Devonshire Colts came from behind to defeat the North Village Rams 2 – 1.
All three goals came within the first 27 minutes, Justin Bell gave North Village the lead in the 14th minute, Zuhri Burgess equalized in the 19th minute when he converted from the penalty spot, and then Shaki Swan scored what proved to be the winner in the 27th minute.
Devonshire Cougars 4 – Somerset Eagles 0
After a scoreless first half at the Devonshire Rec, the Devonshire Cougars scored four unanswered goals against the Somerset Eagles.
Quadir Maynard gave Devonshire Cougars the lead in the 62nd minute, two minutes later Domico Coddington doubled the lead. Jayorie Fox would make it 3 – 0 when he scored in the 71st minute, and then Coddington would score his second of the game in the 85th minute to earn the win.
St. George’s Colts 3 – Southampton Rangers 0
At the Wellington Oval, the St. George’s Colts defeated the Southampton Rangers 3 – 0.
Lashun Dill gave St. George’s the lead in the 2nd minute, three minutes later it was 2 – 0 when Osagi Bascome converted from the penalty spot. and Bascome then made it 3 – 0 when he scored his second goal of the game in the 34th minute.
