Netball League: Embers, Storm & Heat Win
Rain affected the Bermuda Netball Association as all the Under 11 games were called off, and only one Under 14 game was played before it rained again, however despite the less than ideal weather conditions, some matches took place.
Under 14 Division: Phoenix Embers 36 – North Village Lady Rams White 0
The Phoenix Embers got 18 goals from MVP Makaylie Smith, Kammie Mills added 11 goals, and Sydney Santos scored 7 goals, Jayda Walker was named the North Village Lady Rams MVP.
Under 17 Division: Storm 18 – North Village Lady Rams 14
The Storm defeated the North Village Lady Rams 18 – 14. Amayah Burt led the Storm to victory with 13 goals, Jaelyn Rewan added 2 goals, with Imani-Marie Burgess, and Mataya Richardson added a goal each, while the North Village Lady Rams got 7 goals from Arianna Sabir 7, Ghile Dailey added 4 goals, and J’zari Zuill- Dillas scored 3 times. Sanaa Berkeley and Sa’Mya Lightbourne were named the North Village Lady Rams MVP.
Senior Division: Phoenix Heat 64 – Lindo’s Tigers 22
The Phoenix Heat defeated the Lindo’s Tigers 64 – 22. The Phoenix Heat were led to victory by MVP Danielle Raynor who scored 49 goals, with Ebonie Cox chipping in with 15 goals, while Lindo’s got 10 goals from Charlene Gomez, Jahkenya Trott added 8 goals, and Jahtuere Trott scored 4 times, Demiqua Daniels was named the teams MVP.
