BZS Virtual Lecture Series On December 9

The Bermuda Zoological Society [BZS] will be holding a virtual lecture series on Thursday [Dec 9] presented by Greg Kearns, Park Naturalist, Maryland, U.S.A on the topic of “Bermuda… ‘Lifeboat for birds’, Soras and the role of MOTUS”.

“Greg, an authority on Sora Rails, Ospreys and wetland ecology in Maryland, will discuss his Sora research using the MOTUS Wildlife Tracking System, an innovative automated radio telemetry network of which Bermuda [considered a life boat for migratory birds] is now a part.
