Photos, Video & 360: Fresh Air Films Jam Event
The City of Hamilton hosted a series of “Fresh Air Films: Drive-In Pajama Jam” events this weekend on the top level of Bull’s Head Car Park in Hamilton, screening movies while offering an array of fun activities including a drive-through photobooth, prize giveaways, refreshment vendors, complimentary Santa Hats and popcorn upon entry and more.
Patrina ‘Power Girl’ Paynter and Town Crier Ed Christopher — wearing pajamas — hosted the event this evening, providing a lively atmosphere that was enjoyed by all.
Friday, December 10th featured the Home Alone 2 movie at 7:00pm followed by Love Actually at 9:30pm; Saturday, December 11th featured the Grinch at 7:00pm, followed by Four Christmases at 9:30pm, and this evening [Dec 12] featured the Elf movie at 3:00pm with This Christmas screening at 5:30pm.
The weekend series was organized in partnership with title sponsor HSBC Bermuda, and all that was needed for entry to the event was a receipt valued at $35.00 or higher from a City retailer or boutique.
“HSBC is extremely excited to be a part of this event again this year,” HSBC Head of Wealth and Personal Banking & Marketing Tanya Bule previously said.
“Not only will it provide an enjoyable way for all of us to celebrate the holidays, but it also will give much needed support to Hamilton’s retailers and other establishments after a tough couple of years.”
The City said that approximately 700 cars attended the weekend festivities, and as most of the cars had multiple people, the overall attendance was thousands of people.
