Tenth Batch Of Covid Vaccines To Arrive

The tenth delivery of Covid-19 vaccines is set to arrive in Bermuda today [Dec 2]  Government House said.

Government House posted online, saying, “A 10th delivery of vaccines to Bermuda arrives on Island today. Each journey is around 3,600 miles from Northern England to Bermuda with an unbroken cold chain in shippers which lasts only 84 hours.

“The FCDO has sent over 70 deliveries of vaccines to British Overseas Territories across 6 continents without losing one batch [so far]. This week alone we’ve seen vaccines travelling over 14,500 miles to OTs arriving in Bermuda, Cayman, South Georgia and the Turks and Caicos Islands.”

    Thank you UK and thank goodness we are still an OT. Someone should check to see how the Independent islands in the South are doing. Not well according to news reports. Can you imagine what Bermuda’s position would be if it was left up to the PLP to source vaccines? Still talking about it, and forming committees to find out who to ask.
