In the opener, Frontier defeated Appleby 7 – 0. Matthew Benson scored the lone goal in the first period to give Frontier a 1 – 0 lead.
In the second period, Benson completed his hat trick with two goals, while single strikes from Cam Poland, and Jeremy Estey extended the Frontier lead to 5 – 0.
Frontier got single strikes from Poland, and Estey to make the final score 7 – 0.
Spine and Sport 8 – Positive Image Dental 2
In the nightcap, Spine and Sport defeated Positive Image Dental 8 – 2.
Spine and Sport got two goals each from Jeffrey Ingelman, Christopher Merritt, and Jake Fenske, while Brandon Willett and Craig Rowat both added a goal each. Positive Image Dental got single strikes from Brian White and Chris Allington.
