Ten Matches Played In Recent Netball Action

Bermuda Netball Association [BNA] action recently took place, with matches played in the Under 11, Under 14, Under 17, and Senior League divisions.

Under 11 Division

Rangers 6 – Storm 5

Rangers edged the Storm 6- 5 in their opener, with E’rynn Paynter scoring five goals for the Rangers and Eleanor Kurualeba adding the other, while Zyari Kawrence was named the teams MVP. The Storm got three goals from Journee Belboda, with Amayah Williams Johnstone adding two goals. The Storm named three players as MVP: Diya Steede, Kelise Wade, and T’jaia Butler.

Rangers 8 – Storm 3

Paynter led the Rangers to victory for a second time, scoring five more goals, with Kurualeba adding three goals. Ja’Miyah Johnston was named the team’s MVP for the game, with the Storm naming Butler the MVP.

Under 14 Division

Storm Lightning 20 – North Village Lady Rams Whites 2

The Storm Lightning defeated the North Village Lady Rams Whites 20 – 2. The Storm Lightning got 11 goals from Jazaya Brimmer, while Jamir Hatherley added six goals and Canasia Wolfe scored three times, with Nevaeh Barclay named the MVP. Starr Bowen, and Jazmyn Sutton scored a goal each for the North Village Lady Rams Whites, who named Zipporah Grant their MVP.

North Village Lady Rams Red 36 – Storm Thunder 3

MVP Nevaeh Swan led the North Village Lady Rams Red to a 36 – 3 win over the Storm Thunder with 17 goals. Razeeyah Robinson added eight goals, with Sioma Rudo scoring seven goals, and Ra’eesah Robinson scoring four times. Storm Thunder MVP Malaysia Furbert scored three goals.

Rangers 5 – North Village Lady Rams White 3

The Rangers got five goals from MVP Saajida Daniels as they defeated the North Village Lady Rams White 5 – 3. Aniyah Minors scored all three goals for the North Village Lady Rams White, with Zipporah Grant named MVP.

North Village Lady Rams Reds 20 – Storm Lightning 5

The North Village Lady Rams Red defeated the Storm Lightning 20 – 5. Ra’eesah Robinson led the North Village Lady Rams Red with 10 goals, Nevaeh Swan added nine goals, and Razeeyah Robinson scored once, with Katiah Rogers named MVP. The Storm Lightning got three goals from Jamir Hatherley and two goals from Jazaya Brimmer, with Nevaeh Barclay named MVP.

Phoenix Ember 32 – Storm Thunder 1

The Phoenix Ember defeated the Storm Thunder 32 – 1. Makaylie Smith led the Phoenix Ember with 11 goals, Hailey Trott scored 10 times, Sydney Santos added seven goals, and MVP Khylie Smith scored four times. The lone goal for the Storm came from Amari Burgess, with T’jai Butler named the MVP.

Under 17 Division

Storm 24 – North Village Lady Rams Red 11

The Storm defeated the North Village Lady Rams Red 24 – 11. The Storm got 14 goals from Imani Burgess, with Anaya Burt adding 10 goals and Anisa Seon named the MVP, while the North Village Lady Rams Red got nine goals from Arianna Sabir and two goals from J’zari Zuill Dillas, with Sanaa Berkeley named the MVP.

Senior League

Phoenix Heat 43 – Storm 20

Danielle Rayner led the Phoenix Heat to a 43 – 20 win over the Storm with 27 goals. Ebonie Cox added 13 goals, and MVP Dominque Richardson scored three times. The Storm got 11 goals from Nabiilah Nasir, Zakiyah Durham added four goals, Elishae Smith scored three goals, and Amayah Burt scored twice, with Amali Smith named the MVP.

Lindos Tigers 33 – Docksiders 31

In the final game of the day, the Lindos Tigers edged the Docksiders 33 – 31. The Lindo’s Tigers got 18 goals from Jahtuere Trott, while Charlene Gomez added 15 goals and Apryl Jackson was named the MVP. The Docksiders got 25 goals from Charlie Bridgman, while Laura Faulkner added six goals, with Olivia Bugg named the MVP.
