Clarien Appoints Pearline McIntosh To SVP
Clarien Bank has appointed Pearline McIntosh to SVP, Head of Private Banking.
A spokesperson said, “Clarien Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Pearline McIntosh to SVP, Head of Private Banking, responsible for the day-to-day management of the Private Banking team within Clarien’s Wealth Management group.
“Mrs. McIntosh has significant experience in the trust and wealth management space having worked for in the finance and trust industries for more than two decades. She successfully managed a local trust company, formerly Appleby Trust; during which time she managed ultra-high net worth client relationships and family offices. Prior to joining Clarien, Mrs McIntosh was working at Butterfield Bank, most recently as VP, International Senior Private Banker.”

Her versatility and experience in developing effective teams, increasing client buy-in and forging productive relationships across all areas of Trust, Private Banking, Investments & Corporate Services, will be a tremendous asset to Clarien Bank.
“Going forward, we will look to Pearline to provide strategic and tactical direction to the Private banking team, as well as lead new business development efforts and provide team management and mentoring support. The spokesperson said, “Mrs. McIntosh graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Business Administration from Acadia University in Nova Scotia Canada in 1989. Since then, she has amassed a number of professional certificates and designations including STEP Diploma [with Distinction] in International Offshore Trust Management, and ACIB [UK] Banking Designation.
“Since 2019, she has also served as a Member of the Bermuda Development Agency [BDA] Family Office Focus Group, and was the 2015 recipient of the STEP Founder’s Award and the 2013 Citywealth IFC Powerwomen Top 100.
“While at Butterfield Bank, Mrs McIntosh was responsible for the management and development of the more complex and ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices and trust structures. She was also instrumental in business development and client servicing strategy, having been tasked with maximizing profitability of each client relationship by cross-selling and identifying service opportunities.
