Phillips Advances To Puerto Rico Bowl Final
Daniel Philips has advanced to the ITF J4 Bayamón Puerto Rico Bowl final after a tough Semi-Final battle.
Phillips took on American Maxwell Exsted in the semi-final and the pair battled in a three-setter.
Phillips went ahead 1 – 0 after winning the first set 6-4, but Exsted leveled the match at 1 – 1 winning the second set 6-3 and the third and final set was level at 6-6, needing a tiebreak, which Phillips won 7-3 to claim a 7-6 win.
The Bermudian tennis player will now match up against his doubles partner American Cyrus Mahjoob in the final.
