Hockey: Ravens & Falcons Draw, Islanders Win
The Bermuda Field Hockey Federation’s season continued at the National Sports Center with a double-header that produced 5 goals.
Ravens 1 – Falcons 1
In the opening match of the day, the Ravens and Falcons battled to a 1 – 1 draw.
The Ravens took the lead in the 51st minute when Sharmini Samuels scored from a penalty corner, but four minutes later the Falcons equalized with a field goal off the stick of Jayden Pacheco.
Hawks 1 – Islanders 2
The Islanders came from behind to defeat the Hawks 2 – 1 in the second game of the day.
The Hawks took the lead in the 24th minute when Muro Vander Berg scored a field goal, the equalizer came in the 45th minute when Jayden Pacheco scored a field goal for the Islanders. The winner would come in the 52nd minute when Zahyinde Lightbourne-Cann scored a field goal for the Islanders.
