Serious Single Vehicle Collision In Sandys
[Updated] A woman was seriously injured following a collision in Sandys.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 10:35pm on Friday 25th March, police and other first responders were dispatched to a report of a serious single vehicle collision on Beacon Hill Rd, Sandys.
“Early information suggests that a 42 year old woman was traveling east along Beacon Hill when she attempted to negotiate a right hand bend and lost control of her vehicle before colliding with a tree.
“She was transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital. The extent of her injuries is not known at this time, however her injuries are believed to be serious.
“Anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed this collision is urged to contact police in 211.”
Update: The police said, “Sadly, the Bermuda Police Service can confirm that the 42 year old woman involved in a single vehicle car crash which occurred on Beacon Hill, Sandys, around 10:35 p.m. on Friday, 25th March, 2022. has succumbed to her injuries.”
