Swimmers Compete In CCCAN Finals Night

Bermuda swimmers were back in action competing at the Central American and Caribbean Amateur Swimming Confederation [CCCAN] Championships in Barbados.

During the 11-12 boys 400 meter freestyle final, Connor Hupman finished 8th clocking a time of 4:55.01.

Brian Desmond finished 7th competing in the boys 18 & over 400 meter freestyle final touching the wall in a time of 4:21.94.

In the 11-12 girls 100 meter butterfly final, Arabella Newport Derbyshire finished 7th touching the wall in a time of 1:12.47.

Myeisha Sharrieff finished 8th clocking a time of 1:07.11 during the 15-17 girls 100 meter butterfly final. Touching the wall in a time of 57.74 saw Jesse Washington finish 5th competing in the boys 18 & over 100 meter butterfly final.

In the 11-12 girls 200 meter backstroke final, Newport Derbyshire finished 4th with a time of 2:39.89, while Violet Smith finished 5th clocking a time of 2:40.61.

Imojen Judd finished 7th competing in the 13-14 girls 200 meter backstroke final clocking a time of 2:35.04.

In the 15-17 girls 200 meter backstroke final, Taylor White clocked a time of 2:36.74 finishing 7th.

The Bermuda 13-14 girls 4×100 meter freestyle relay team of Judd, Elanna Fulton, Ava Pedro, and Marleigh Howes finished 4th clocking a time of 4:13.37.

Seth Samuels, Hupman, Nathan Burrill, and Thomas Cechini competed in the 13-14 boys 4×100 meter freestyle relay finishing 5th clocking a time of 3:58.16.

Tayla Horan, Sharrieff, Adriana Argent, and Bella Howes finished 4th competing in the 15-17 girls 4×100 meter freestyle relay final clocking time of 4:07.36.

The Bermuda 15-17 boys 4×100 meter freestyle relay team of Finn Moseley, Brandon Adkins, Elijah Daley, and Flynn Watson-Brown finished 5th clocking time of 3:40.76.
