Pacers Win More Medals In North Carolina
Members of the Bermuda Pacers Track Club continued competing in the 2022 Russell E. Blunt Eastcoast Invitational Track Meet in Durham, North Carolina, making an excellent showing to win five more medals on the second day of action.
Daylen Scott captured the gold medal competing in the 13-14 boys long jump division with a top leap of 5.60m.
Kelise Wade won the silver medal competing in the 11-12 girls 1500 meter division clocking a time of 5:27.29.
Jaeda Grant won her second gold medal of the Meet, winning the 13-14 girls 1500 meter race in a time of 5:06.39.
The Bermuda Pacers 13-14 girls 4×100 meter relay team, and the 13-14 boys 4×100 meter relay team captured the gold medals. The girls clocked a time of 50.41, while the boys recorded a time of 46.50.
During the 11-12 girls 1500 meter division race Antoinette Barry finished 4th clocking a time of 5:48.03, Riana Robinson finished 5th with a time of 5:56.87.
During the 9-10 girls 100 meter dash preliminaries Jasmine Reid-Rubaine advanced to the final with the third fastest time of 14.85.
Pria Wilson and Arima Turner finished 9th and 10th competing in the 13-14 girls 100 meter dash preliminaries clocking 13.15, and 13.19.
Miles Outerbridge clocked a the fastest qualification time of 11.51 during the 13-14 boys 100 meter dash preliminaries, while Malik Paynter finished 10th clocking 12.17.
Denver Tucker during the 15-16 boys 100 meter dash preliminaries clocked a time of 11.5 finishing 5th advancing to the final.
Teagan Scott-Hanley advanced to the 8 & under division girls 400 meter dash final after clocking a time of 1:36.25 in the preliminaries.
Wade advanced to the 11-12 girls 400 meter dash final after clocking the second fastest time of 1:03.43 in the preliminaries.
Clocking a time of 1:01.47 saw Ellise Dickinson finish second in the 13-14 girls 400 meter dash preliminaries to advance to the final.
Scott advanced to the 13-14 boys 400 meter dash final after clocking a time of 57.15 in the preliminaries finishing 8th.
